WARRANTY
At Cobra Cricket, we take immense pride in crafting some of the finest cricket bats available worldwide, aiming to extract optimal performance from every willow cleft transformed into a cricket bat. We endeavor for our customers to feel a sense of pride in their cricket bats, associating top-tier quality with the name ‘Cobra Cricket’.
Willow and cane, as natural materials used by Cobra Cricket, adhere to the regulations of the game. These materials naturally undergo wear and deterioration through use and, despite the best preparation, cannot be entirely shielded from effects like yorkers, mistimed shots, low-quality balls, and normal wear and tear. Consequently, accurately predicting the lifespan of a cricket bat is unfeasible for any manufacturer.
Cobra Cricket bats are backed by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing and material defects. We operate on the basis of fair wear and tear, acknowledging that certain products might experience wear commensurate with consistent and enthusiastic use, even within the warranty period, without any inherent material or manufacturing faults.
Items damaged due to heavy use, misuse, or inadequate care will not qualify for a warranty claim. Products displaying wear, fatigue, and deterioration proportional to their usage and playing conditions are also exempt from warranty claims.
Prior to any resolution, all products must undergo assessment by our team to confirm the presence of a fault.
Please note, the warranty excludes damage caused by yorkers, mistimed shots (such as striking the bat's shoulder), the use of low-quality balls, and normal wear and tear. Cricket bats are not impervious to water, and storing or using your bat in wet conditions may result in damage.
Additionally, while the bat's face is robust, the edges and back are softer and accidental damage might occur without proper care.
To support any warranty claim, proof of purchase is necessary.
Bats returned under warranty will be evaluated by Cobra Cricket's bat maker. Based on the assessment, the bat will either undergo repairs or, if repair isn’t viable, it will be replaced or partly replaced (i.e., offering a new bat at a significantly discounted price), contingent on the nature of the damage and its overall condition.
We take pride in our exceptional customer service and comprehensive after-sales support. In cases where the situation is unclear, we always strive to be fair and reasonable.
Proof of purchase is mandatory for us to process any warranty claims or offer our services.
