Willow
Grade 2 English Willow - Limited edition Grade : The grain structure will typically be between 5-8 grains (occasionally more in rare cases). The clefts will typically have straight grains, but there will be the odd blemish and a small amount of heartwood can be common. These DO NOT affect performance.
Extras
Knocking in Service: We offer a machine knocking in service on our bats, which are hand made in the UK. This provides roughly 5000 to 6000 knocks on the bat
Please note that the machine knocking service DOES NOT mean the bat is match ready. While the machine does the bulk of the work for you (around 75%-80%), you will need to do an amount of mallet knocking upon receiving it to round off the edges and target the vulnerable areas on the bat such as the toe and edges.
Scuff Sheet & Toe Guard: We offer a hammer edge quality scuff sheet, which is clear on the front with fibre edge tape applied on the edges to help protect the cricket bat and prolong its life.
Please note the toe guard may come off over time.
Extra Grip : Looking for an Extra grip, no problem we have got you covered. You can order an extra grip with your custom-made cricket bat.

Type 1 - The mid to low sweet spot is great for players who love to play shots in the V and through the cover, and the larger sweet spot also aids aggressive players
Type 2
A great shape that has a mid to low sweet spot with the spine running through the toe, and the wood more evenly distributed across the bat.
Type 3
It has a low middle which ensures you have sufficient power in the lower third of the bat. If you are aggressive, or a batter who mostly hits front foot shots, this maybe for you
Type 4
Type 4 This profile bat suits players with fast hands, and mainly back foot shots. More importantly, the profile has a high middle which suits players that play on fast and bouncy tracks.
Type 5 Convex
Looking for a powerful big hitter profile? This may be the shape for you. This has the same profile as the Type 1 but is a convex shape. Please note the lowest weight for these bats is 2:10
Grade 4
Grade Four bats often have more than half the blade with red wood or natural "butterfly" staining.
Made from good quality willow, they perform well but have fewer grains and more visible knots, blemishes, and specks.
Many feature bleached willow, which reduces the visibility of marks and gives a cleaner appearance.
Performance is unaffected; grading is based on appearance.
Grade 3
Grade Three bats are made from very good quality willow, offering a balance between performance and appearance.
They are popular and provide great value for money, often produced in large quantities.
Up to half of the blade may have colored wood, with small knots or specks, and at least five grains on the face.
Performance is not affected; grading is based on appearance.
Grade 2
Grade Two bats are made from high-quality willow and perform similarly to Grade One bats.
They have at least six visible grains, with occasional knots or blemishes.
More red wood may appear towards the edge of the blade compared to Grade One.
Performance is unaffected; grading is based on appearance.
Grade One
Grade One bats are made from top-quality willow selected for both performance and appearance.
They typically feature at least six straight, visible grains on the face.
Some red wood may appear on the edge, with occasional knots or specks on the edge or back, but the playing surface remains clean.
Performance is not affected; grading is based on looks.

Cricket bats will endure wear and tear due to the natural properties of willow, which can only handle limited stress and strain.
The bat’s lifespan depends on the frequency of use, with more frequent use leading to quicker breakage.
Cobra Cricket bats come with a 12-month warranty, while non-Cobra bats have a 6-month warranty.
Common damages not covered by the warranty include toe damage, edge impacts, water/moisture damage, and damage from low-quality or colored balls.
Proper preparation, such as knocking-in the bat, is essential. Failure to prepare the bat voids the warranty.
Bats used without being properly knocked-in or prepared will not be eligible for warranty coverage.
If claiming warranty, customers must email images of the damage for assessment, but inward postage costs are not covered.
The cause of damage will be assessed based on the nature of damage, general condition, and maintenance.
If the bat is damaged by player-inflicted causes and no material flaw is found, repair work will be chargeable.
Proper bat care and maintenance are crucial for performance and durability; Cobra emphasizes this as the owner's responsibility.
